About Seth Metoyer

Seth Metoyer is a writer, musician, artist, and audio engineer working at the intersection of theology, metaphysics, heavy music, and modern creative technology. With over 25 years in the music and film industries, he has contributed to outlets such as Heaven’s Metal Magazine, Metal Digest, and NewReleaseToday, while also running the independent label Broken Curfew Records. His work often explores faith, doubt, symbolism, and the uneasy space where tradition meets emerging tools. Seth approaches creativity as both craft and contemplation—less interested in tidy answers than in asking better questions. He lives on the California coast, where he continues to write, produce, and wrestle with ideas that refuse to stay quiet. Metoyer is also a solo musician, and guitarist/vocalist in the metal bands Mangled Carpenter, Pulpit Vomit and Brain Matter.
