I just checked out this really fresh, slick, and stylish horror short film The Scroll Of Morlok which pays homage to the silent German Expressionist classics of the 1920s, such as Nosferatu and The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, but with a contemporary twist.
Let me say that this short film packs a creepy and creative punch. As a huge silent movie fan myself, particularly films such as The Lodger: A Story of the London Fog (1927) and Nosferatu (1922), among many others, I felt this movie paid those early silent films a great nod of respect and appreciation.
You can tell that the filmmakers took great care while crafting this film and I definitely recommend you check it out. You can watch it below the description.
