Horror-comedy graphic novel 'STAY ALIVE' has released

Check out STAY ALIVE below and snag a copy from Amazon and Barnes and Nobles.

STAY ALIVE is a horror-comedy GRAPHIC NOVEL about celebrity exploitation, mob justice, and serial killers.

HORRORBUZZ said it’s “RIDICULOUS IN ALL THE RIGHT WAYS” and rated it “9 OUT OF 10 PLAGUE DOCTOR MASKS[!]”

It is published by MARKOSIA, one of the UK’s leading graphic novel publishers, and arrives January 20, 2020. It is available at Amazon.com and Barnes & Noble.

Logline: Hollywood starlet Jane Morgan revives her fading career by provoking a group of serial killers and then starring in Stay Alive, a reality TV show about surviving the killers’ attempts to murder her.

Overview: Jane Morgan is an actress fallen from an Oscar-nominated film debut into personal misadventures and Z-grade, T-and-A slasher flicks. Desperate to rescue her career, she provokes uKill.com.

uKill is a mob justice entertainment consortium that murders whomever its web site patrons choose by popular election—literally anyone, anywhere. By spoiling the last-wish pro baseball adventure of a terminally ill child, Jane becomes uKill’s target.

She parlays her calamity into a starring role on Stay Alive. It’s a reality TV show about surviving uKill’s attempts to murder her. Jane’s blood-splashed redemption path follows, populated by stalkers, assassins, and show-me-the-money allies. They include: Hank Summers, Stay Alive’s self-promoting producer who prefers good ratings to Jane’s safety; Moses Rabkin, Jane’s ex-military bodyguard (and romantic interest) who’s comically maladjusted to polite society; Nox, uKill’s plague doctor-masked, darkly-comic emcee; and Kenyon Kraft, Jane’s formerly-incarcerated and homicidal stalker, liberated by uKill to hunt her.

About the Creators: STAY ALIVE was written by Jim Harberson and Mackie Wildwood and illustrated by Stephen Baskerville.

Harberson resides in upstate New York with Lewis, a spry hound. The Simply Scary Podcast produced history Making Things Click in 2018. It’s about a gonzo vlogger who inspires an epidemic of vigilante violence byposting a video of himself apparently murdering a school bully. Wildwood resides in New York City and distracts himself from Corporate America™ by writing, broadcasting, and media production. Baskerville illustrated Stay Alive. He’s worked for Marvel, DC, Egmont Fleetway, and several video game makers.
